SUSIE LIDDLE
It might be an almost familiar face glimpsed in the crowd, a snippet of conversation overheard, a view seen in passing or a long forgotten sound or scent which brings fragments of memory to the surface. I try to capture these pieces and give them new life. Sometimes the memories may be real and other times a journey along a pathway of imagined ‘memory’.
I use collagraph, linocut, woodcut and old photographic processes to create my work.
