LLINOS LANINI
After a decade as a social worker in central London and fi fteen years as a relationship therapist, the purchase of a camera in November ‘05 and an unexpected meeting with some hungry sheep on a hillside changed Llinos’s life completely. The image of the sheep she shot that day in March ‘06 won her a Daily Telegraph competition and a week in Singapore, commisioned to capture images of the city for the Singapore Tourist Board Calendar for 2007. In February 2007, self-tought and encouraged by others, she became a full time photographer. This allowed her to concentrate on seeking out the unusual and often unseen aspects of life, in towns, cities and in the countryside. Nature contributed greatly with spectacular light, frost, rain, snow etc.
