William James Rathbone { Bill }
Local Welsh artist born in Rhuallt near St Asaph, North Wales in 1934. Lived for
eight years in Bodrum Turkey, where he had a studio and gallery, returned to
North Wales in 2008. Now lives in Kinmel Bay, and as usual has a studio at his
home. He paints in oils and also sketches the landscapes, historical buildings,
the people the culture, legends and myths of North Wales. Currently painting the
life of the Welsh hero, Owain Glyndwr.
CHRISTOPHER T ROBERTS:
I am a realist expressionist – I attempt to make exciting and energetic paintings that depict real subjects such as people, animals, landscape, sea and nature. I am also currently writing and illustrating a children’s fairy tale.
I am a member of Rhyl Create and have paintings on permanent rotational display at the Gallery 36 in Rhyl.

MARTIN JONES:
My name is Martin Jones and I am from Rhyl North Wales. As a young boy I always loved painting, in school I asked what. I wanted to do as a career, I said paint birds and wildlife photography. Up to now I have never had the time due to life’s commitments. Now my children
have grown up, it is time I realised my childhood dreams.

RACHAEL ROBERTS:
Rachel Roberts is an award winning artist with a First Class Degree with Honours in Fine Art and an MA in Art and Design. Her most recent award was in the Chichester National Open Art Competition 2009, as the regional winner for Wales. The paintings on display are informed by travel in India and Welsh landscapes.
