My work at present investigates light, shade and shadows to create an eerie
atmosphere, dark corners and fear of the unseen.I try to produce pure clean
lines and fl at colour in my artwork.
The inspiration for my paintings comes from photographs I have taken around
the North Wales area, paying particular attention to the shadows created by
the sun. I then manipulate these images and translate them into paintings,
exploring the effect of tones of colour and perspective using oils or acrylics.
